Kenya Network

Launched in March 2024, SHE Changes Climate Kenya is building a national platform to amplify women-led climate leadership rooted in equity, inclusion, and local knowledge. The network engages grassroots activists, policymakers, and private sector partners to drive intersectional solutions and shape bold, gender-responsive climate policy from the ground up. She Changes Climate Kenya works closely with government institutions, including the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry and the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action, to influence national policy frameworks such as the National Gender and Climate Change Action Plan. Through partnerships, advocacy, and capacity building, the network ensures that women—especially those on the frontlines of the climate crisis—are at the center of Kenya’s climate transition.
