India Network

Launched on April 12, 2024, SHE Changes Climate India (SCC India) is a growing network dedicated to advancing gender equity in climate action across the country. With a strong focus on intersectionality, SHE Changes Climate India works to amplify women’s leadership in climate solutions, particularly those led by marginalized and frontline communities. The network has already forged impactful partnerships—including acting as Gender Advisor for the USAID-supported SACH (Sustainable Action for Climate Health) Initiative, co-hosting youth leadership trainings with The Azadi Project, producing knowledge products with CEEW on women in renewable energy, and leading disaster preparedness trainings with Miranda House, NIDM, and NIUA. Through these collaborations and its ongoing advocacy, SHE Changes Climate India is shaping inclusive climate policy, promoting local leadership, and building momentum toward a gender-just transition ahead of COP30
