Overview: A new report launched by SHE Changes Climate Brazil, Sinal do Vale Institute and Human Development Network (REDEH) reveals the scale, diversity, and transformative impact of women-led Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) across the country's six major biomes. 

Titled "Women Leading Nature-Based Climate Solutions in Brazil: A Mapping," the study provides the a systematic overview of women-led climate initiatives restoring ecosystems, strengthening food security, protecting biodiversity, and building climate resilience across Brazil's six major biomes: the Amazon, Cerrado, Atlantic Forest, Caatinga, Pantanal, and Pampa.

As global climate action accelerates, Nature-Based Solutions are increasingly recognized as a cost-effective strategy capable of delivering up to one-third of the mitigation needed to meet the Paris Agreement targets.
